On March 15, 2007, a hearing was held before the Seapower and Expeditionary Forces Subcommittee regarding the Federal Ship Construction Loan Guarantee Program (more commonly known as the Title XI Loan Program).   This group is a subcommittee of the Committee on Armed Services, House of Representatives, and was chaired by Gene Taylor (D-Mississippi).   Martin Gottlieb, President and founding member of Argent Group, was called as an expert witness on the Title XI program.
